Would you consider helping us serve OUR CITY at the Allen Park Street Fair on August 6 or 7? We have created a great partnership with the city over the last few years, and they love to see our smiling faces out helping things go smoothly. We need some Southpointers to volunteer to be “Block Captains” who help ensure all the vendors get where they need to be set up, and answer basic street fair related questions. There are opportunities on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Sign up at this link, and help get others involved, too! Thanks for your partnership in being the hands and feet of Jesus, and making this partnership a success!
An opportunity for those who’ve just completed 8th – 12th grades to serve our neighbors in Southwest Detroit. We’ll clean and paint buildings, pick up trash in the park, and provide activities for the local children every day, who respond well to the gospel and build relationships with us! Register by July 26, and save $15 off the total cost (use promo code save15). The full cost is $75, and it includes all meals, transportation from both Southpoint campuses, a pool party, t-shirt, and Tigers game! Final registration deadline is 8/2.
Everyone else – we need your support! Pray for us, and if you’re able, donate some food to help feed the students and all the kids at the park. Get more info at the table in the lobby this weekend!
